The 'Farewell' Moments

The last day at college is a very emotional moment for almost everyone who has ever had a crush in college, spent days sleeping in the library, been a part of an extra curricular society or just been an active leader or supporter in college elections. From being the best student to being a back bencher, from being active in the dance society to being the teachers favourite student;all good things come to an end, so my college tenure had to end too. From making best friends to loosing old friends, from gaining popularity in college to having sleepless nights before exams and from being a fresher to graduating as a senior.I have no second thoughts when I say that college time is the best time one can ever experience in his/her life.

So on our last day in college, after our official farewell party, we decided to visit the nearest and our favourite fast food restaurant. Chinese used to be a favourite in our gang and we all used to be all over each other fighting for the unlimited food we used to order in the limited amount of money we used to have.Suddenly today, to my surprise everyone wanted to have healthy food. All women (except me of course) wanted to go on a diet! The miseries of women graduating from college to the 'real world' are many!

After a lot of discussions, we finally decided on eating at one of the best restaurants in India, which boasts of 97% fat free salads and sandwiches, thankfully satisfying the new 'we are on a diet' group and the 'we don't eat healthy food' group too. After a tasty, healthy and affordable meal we all discussed our future plans, promised to be in touch, meet once a month and bid adieu to each other, moving on to new dreams and new endeavors.
